I was unsure if getting prescriptions VR lens inserts would work. Both my wife and I have tricky prescriptions. But I was so sick of trying to find that sweet spot with my progressives. Jason actually took the time to talk to me in the phone long distance from Canada. He was so friendly and down-to-earth, and answered all my questions totally allaying my fears. Strong prescriptions welcome!!
My eyeglass prescriptions are greater than -8.00. I wondered how well Reloptix would do- and how they would keep the lenses light and thin. Well, they did it!! The lenses are great! I use contact lenses most of the time, and they are fine, but I seemed to be able to see in the virtual world slightly better with my glasses. I decided to get these lenses and try them out. They are perfect! Thin, light, and my strong prescription was absolutely no problem. The view is incredibly sharp, the lenses are easy to install and remove, and they are thin and light (see the pictures). These are fine pieces of optics folks! So don’t worry about your strong prescription! Reloptix has you!!

Expert help try to match my eye contition of a slight vertical double that is worse in VR (white on black background). Work in progress to debug.
Faint ghost image also seen in glasses with same RX.
1. Astigmatism (uncorrected or undercorrected) — common with vertical ghosting. But see in each eye but left is 50% great shift down.
2. Corneal irregularity — from dryness, scarring, or subtle warping (even mild keratoconus).
3. Early lens changes — like very early cataracts or lens asymmetry.
